About
Fulton-Montgomery Community College, located in Johnstown, New York, is a member school of the State University of New York System (SUNY) which manages all public institutions in the state with the exception of those located within New York City. The school is situated near the Adirondack mountains between the cities of Albany and Utica, and provides a scenic backdrop to the start of one's post secondary educational. The school serves the counties of Fulton and Montgomery, and is dedicated to providing the best educational opportunities and facilities to residents to ensure success.

Academics
FMCC offers over 45 programs of study that allow students to either continue their education through transfer or prepare them for entry into the workforce through vocational and technical programs. Transfer programs fulfill the first two years of a four year education and allow students to transfer to a college or university to complete their bachelor's degree, a process made easier if the student transfer to a SUNY institution. Career training programs take between one and two years to complete, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to seek employment in their area of study as professionals. Graduates will earn a degree or certificate that demonstrates competency when seeking entry level employment.
