University of Nebraska - Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is a school dedicated to providing higher education to the residents of Nebraska and nearby states focused on agriculture. Students are given the opportunity to earn practical training as preparation for their career as agricultural leaders and entrepreneurs.

The campus is located at the small town of Curtis, a place conducive to learning relevant agricultural skills and several student activities. Near the campus is a 580 acre working farm and wide range of animals used for educational activities including cattle, horses, dogs, birds, snakes, alpacas, rodents, and other exotics are available on campus.

This school offers affordable education with low tuition rates and financial aids available for the students. NCTA provides comprehensive academic programs in line with the dynamic agricultural industry needs, as well as with the goals of the students. These programs include four majors: Veterinary Technology Systems, Agriculture Production Systems, Agribusiness Management Systems and Horticulture Systems. Students who take these majors can transfer to other four-year institutions.

Specialty programs and online courses are also offered for students who would like to start a career in agriculture or obtain college credits. Each of the programs offered in this school is designed to meet the diverse needs of the students. With quality education, NCTA aims to produce graduates with a competitive edge in the work force industry.

NCTA hosts a number of activities and events. Some of the athletic programs that may be enjoyed in this school are played by the Rodeo Team, Ranch Horse Team, and Equitation Team. Besides these programs, students can also enjoy picnics, movie nights, dances and intramural sports.
