Red Rocks Community College

900 W Orman Ave, Pueblo, CO

Red Rocks Community College is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Lakewood, Colorado.  Every year, about 14,000 students enroll at one of RRCCs two campuses; the college also has a campus in Avanda, CO.

One special feature of this school, is a childcare center that doubles as a training center for Early Childhood Education Students. More information about this program can be found at http://www.rrcc.edu/childcare/general.html. This program is available to staff, students, and members of the community. Students also enjoy access to a fitness center when they enroll in one credit elective classes. The fitness center offers a training class to prepare students for the personal training certification test.

Although RRCCs credits are guaranteed to transfer any public Colorado university, this college has more to offer than just being ranked on the 2013 Most Affordable Large Community Colleges List. RRCC has majors in today's most popular and in-demand fields including nursing, speech therapy, computer technology, fire science, and law enforcement. However, if you do choose to continue on, RRCC has transfer agreements in place with many four-year schools in order to help make the transfer process go smoothly.

In 2012, 100% of applications to attend were granted. Apply at http://www.rrcc.edu/admissions/.
