Beaumont Adult School

906 Oakwood Ave, Huntsville, AL

Beaumont Adult School (BAS) is located in Beaumont, California and is part of the Beaumont Unified School District (BUSD).

BAS seeks to ensure that there are opportunities in place for students to complete basic and secondary academic instruction, or if they wish, to complete career technical training in a subject area of their choice, such as the vocational nursing program.

Students wishing to enter the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program must complete 656 hours of theory and 1073 hours of clinical instruction. Students are required to have a basic literacy of computers, since much of the curriculum is conducted online (or by CBI. Laptop computers are provided to each student as part of their program materials package).

A minimum grade of 80% must be met to satisfy progress in all areas of the program curriculum per the latest information provided by the school.  The BAS accreditation body and CBVNPT may, at their discretion, modify the requirements as they see fit for students.

Students who satisfactorily complete the program meet the requirements of the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians and are then eligible to sit for the vocational nurse licensure exam.
