California Career College, located in Canoga Park, California, opened in 2001 and received its nursing accreditation in 2002. California Career College offers 12 and 18 month nursing programs that focus on hands on education for students. Once the program is completed students will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Vocational Nursing (NCLEX-VN). Additionally, licensed vocational nurses may take a 30 hour program in intravenous therapy certification which will train nurses in venipuncture, legal issues, infection control, IV fluids, and patient care.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Enrollment is open to all students who are 18 or over, take the entrance exam (math, reading and writing), have a high school diploma or GED, and are physically capable of performing the duties required of being a nurse.

Financial aid is available to students. Interested students should consult with a school counselor and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
