The Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing has been training nurses since 1899. It is located in Sharon, Pennsylvania. The school began a partnership with Penn State in August 2013.

There are many educational opportunities available. The school has articulation agreements with Youngstown State, Slippery Rock and Pennsylvania State universities.

One area in which the Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing stands out is through clinical experience .Students experience varied acute and long-term clinical sites within Sharon Regional including Behavioral Health Services, Cancer Care Center , Diabetes Center, Dialysis, Heart & Vascular Institute , Transitional Care Unit, Women's Center, Advanced Wound Recovery Center, and Emergency Care Center.

Admission is based on passing a health examination. Applicants are selected in accordance with non-discriminatory practices.

The school can work with students on applying for financial aid.

The School of Nursing participates in the Federal Pell Grant and Stafford Loan programs. Students are eligible for state grants according to state of residence.

All students who seek financial aid must complete the application for federal and state grants each year in order to determine financial need. A number of scholarships are available as well. It is important to note that financial aid should not relied to cover the complete cost of nursing school.
