St. Margaret School of Nursing (UPMC St. Margaret School of Nursing) in Pittsburgh, PA, was founded in 1910 and offers a 22-month nursing diploma to students who are preparing for the NCLEX-RN Examination. The school operates two campuses – in Pittsburgh and McKeesport. The school’s mission is “to foster the development of the intentional learner who is prepared to transition to practice as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team.”

The program focuses on developing high level competencies that are needed to deliver safe, quality care. The nursing curriculum consists of evidence-based practice and informatics, and geared to prepare nursing graduates for entry level practice and to attempt the NCLEX-RN exam.
