Bergen County Technical Schools – Adult Education

Also known as Bergen Career Institute

400 Jefferson St, Hackettstown, NJ

Adult & Continuing Education-BCTS (Bergen County Technical School) is a technical school located in Bergen County in a relatively large town that provides incredible education resources to the whole county. This technical school is aimed at providing relevant resources to the county residents. They achieve this with great learning facilities and vocational training courses. Since its inception, BCTS has helped many people gain practical skills from the hands-on training gained from such courses as carpentry, electrical technology, energy conservation, fire fighting, plumbing and welding. These are courses that equip the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with the plethora challenges technical workers face each and every day in the field.

There are also courses that enable high school students to pass their GED exams and opportunities to study English as a foreign language. They open their doors to all applicants and their fees are relatively low, $9,675 in 2012.
