The Kirksville Area Technical Center opened in 1966 with the mission to help all students achieve their potential. Since then the Kirksville Area Technical Center has helped students realize their goals and helped them to become productive members of society.
The Kirkland Area Technical Center offers training programs such as automotive collision, practical nursing, computer applications, medical assistant, early childhood careers, automotive technology, administrative assistant, and digital design. As of 2013 graduates nearly 70 students a year. Students can choose to study part-time, full-time or online.
