Pike-Lincoln Technical Center serves the Eolia, MO area providing hands-on technical training for both juniors and seniors in high school, as well as adults, wishing to find a career in the technical field. Pike-Lincoln’s staff is engaged in the community ensuring their curriculum meets the demands of local employers. Programs range from:
- 3D Animation and Modeling
- Auto Collision Technology
- Auto Service Technology
- Building Trades
- Computer & Networking Technology
- Diesel Technology
- Digital Design
- Health Sciences
- Welding Technology
Other specialized programs are available such as, Practical Nursing, GED, and other employer specific classes. Most programs require hands-on training and can be completed within one to two years. The Diesel Technology program can work in conjunction with a two year associates degree obtained through local community colleges. Daytime and evening classes are available. High School Juniors and Seniors are admitted through their high school, while adults holding a GED or higher can enroll in courses through the normal application process.
Tuition is based on fulltime and half time status per year. Programs other than Practical Nursing and EMT training cost $6,589 for fulltime students and $3,295 for part time students. This does not include the cost of books and other expenses. Students can choose to engage in student organizations, such as Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), SkillsUSA (Career & Technical Student Organization), and Phi Beta Lamba (PBL) (same as FBLA, except for adult students). Organizations foster confidence and business skills necessary for students to enter the workforce successfully. Along with learning practical skills in state of the art classrooms, students are provided with facilities that encourage fun and activity, such as playing basketball and going on field trips.
