Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Morristown (MTSA)

Located in Morristown City in Tennessee, The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Morristown is one of the technical colleges governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents. The mission of the school is to provide competitive programs that empower not only the students but also the local community in Morristown. TTC-Morristown is accredited with the Council on Occupational Education thus it offers competitive programs that are able to meet the demands of the local industries.

The school currently offers 2-year fulltime programs which include auto body technology, automotive technology, aviation maintenance technology, business systems technology, computer information technology, drafting or CAD technology, graphic arts, HVAC technology, industrial electricity and maintenance, practical nursing and welding. The school also offers part time evening programs and online courses to provide more flexibility to students who cannot attend fulltime classroom instructions.

Regarding the tuition fee rate in TTC-Morristown, the cost per credit hour is $183 but programs requiring laboratory units have to pay extra $100 for the room and equipment fees. On the other hand, students who wish to proceed to an associate degree or a four years bachelor degree can take advantage of the student service center. In fact, the school is part of the Tennessee Transfer Pathway wherein students can transfer to schools like the Tennessee University, Christian Brothers University, King University, Lipscomb University, Nashville State Community College and Pellissippi State Community College without the need to worry about not crediting their units.
