City Vision University is an affordable online university espousing Christian values based in Kansas City, Missouri.  The school was founded in 1998 and is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC).

The enrollment process at CVU is very straight forward.  The process begins with students completing an online enrollment form and meeting the prescribed academic eligibility requirements at stipulated by the university.   The admissions team at City Vision will review the application for admissions and communicate with you about your acceptance to the program.

Next, students will need to complete financial aid forms and federal loan forms.  Financial aid forms are designed to help you pay for your schooling through a variety of grants, scholarships, and work-study programs.  The federal loan paperwork can be helpful for students to obtain low cost student loans to help pay for schooling.  Students will then need to register for courses and complete a new student orientation.

City Vision University offers a number of undergraduate degrees in the following tracks: business, addiction studies, nonprofit management, and urban missions.  CVU also offers a graduate level program: Master’s in Technology and Social Entrepreneurship.

Unique online programs City Vision University offers include the following examples: theology of technology, organizational systems, emerging media ministry, nonprofit administration, fund raising, counseling foundations, Christian community development, urban evangelism, and technology & ministry.

CVU provides new and returning students with a variety of degree-granting programs.  The undergraduate programs include an associate degree in business and Christian ministry & leadership.  Bachelor degree programs include addiction studies, business, nonprofit management, urban missions, and Christian ministry and leadership.  Graduate degree programs include an MBA and a Master's of technology and social entrepreneurship.

To help bridge the distance from school to work, City Vision University has a robust internship process.  In fact, the school has successfully placed over five hundred full-time interns and over 80,000 volunteers through the their internship programs.  Internship sites and locations span from coast to coast across the United States & may be a viable option for students on their path towards degree completion.
