Daymar College is a multi-campus career college that was founded in 1963 as Owensboro Business College.  Daymar College (DC) earned accreditation in 1970 from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) which is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).

Daymar College offers a number of online diploma, associate, and bachelor degree programs in the following tracks: accounting, business management, criminal justice, criminal justice administration, billing & coding specialist, health care administration, medical assisting, nursing, and pharmacy technology.

Daymar has created a streamlined admissions process for students looking to leverage higher education opportunities.  The five step process to enroll in a degree program or technical school diploma includes:

  1. Having earned a high school diploma or equivalent
  2. Complete an interview with a Daymar College admissions representative
  3. Successfully complete a Daymar admissions evaluation
  4. Complete an admissions application & an enrollment agreement
  5. Sign up for the Daymar College new student orientation
