Theology Degree

The theology program at Assumption College for Sisters prepares students for careers in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, or theological research. ACS is located on the current Morris Catholic High School located in Denville, New Jersey.  The college encompasses a computer lab, classroom, student lounge, dining room, kitchen and administrative offices for the staff at ACS.   Students matriculating at ACS will be provided access to the Morris Catholic High School library, science lab, and designated classroom areas.
Students interested in enrolling in the Assumption College program must meet the minimum qualifications as established by the college.  Any woman who is a member of a Catholic religious community can apply for admissions at ACS. Regardless of race, ethnicity, color, or national origin, students can apply for the ACS program.  For students in a serious discernment process, the school recommends scheduling an appointment with the spiritual director at ACS with our without being part of the formation program.  Lay students may register for either philosophy or theology programs and audit other courses offered by ACS.
