Southern Careers Institute is a system of seven schools located throughout the state of Texas that offers education and training in a number of high demand fields. The school is designed for ease of admissions and to prepare individuals with no previous experience for entry into the workforce upon completion. The school is dedicated to providing high quality education and training, having done so since its founding in 1960.

The school offers a variety of programs for students to choose from, primarily in allied health fields, though other programs are also available. Students are encouraged to choose the area of study that best suits his or her needs. Courses are taught by industry professionals who ensure that the curriculum reflects the demands of actual employers and businesses. Upon completion students will be able to pursue employment as trained professionals.

The Mooresville branch of Southern Careers Institute is located at 461-C East Plaza Drive. Approximately 480 students graduate from this location per year.
