Southwest University is like many other colleges in its methods of teaching, study and examinations. It was once called Southwest Career College, when it recently changed its name to Southwest University in August of 2012. South University provides quality learning opportunities through its facilities and faculty, and asks that students in turn demonstrate dedication and focus in order to work together and succeed. Both the main campus and the auto/diesel shop are located in El Paso, Texas.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Students wishing to enroll at Southwest University must have graduated high school or have obtained a GED. Students who meet these requirements can submit an application online.
