Summit Career College was founded in 1991 and received its ACCET accreditation 1994, which allowed it offer federal financial aid and title IV benefits. Located in Colton, CA, the college opened a second campus in Anaheim, CA in 2003 which has seen large growth due to the efforts of the faculty and staff.
