The Cosmetology and Spa Institute was established in June 1998 when Ned Halimi took over ownership and operation of the corporation. CSI currently has two locations: Crystal Lake (700 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014) and Schaumburg (142 E. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60173). CSI occupies approximately 6,800 square feet of space for both locations. The Institute consists of self-contained classrooms, student salons where clients receive a full menu of services, dispensaries, and reception areas for clients. The student salons provide students with valuable practical experience. The real life hands-on training is the best way for students to learn superior skills in providing customer service and solving hair and nail problems. The Institute also provides lockers and student lounges for its students, and it is handicap accessible.
