Fort Peck Community College

Known as the first chartered tribal college in Montana, Fort Peck Community College serves as an integral educational resource for the residents of the Fort Peck Reservation and northeastern Montana. FPCC has campuses in Poplar and Wolfpoint.
This college takes pride in providing quality educational opportunities anchored on the cultural values of the Indians. It cooperates with agencies, organizations, tribal units, businesses and institutions to create academic programs aimed at cultivating lifelong learning among adults and the youth.
FPCC receives an accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium (WINHEC). It has an open enrollment system and it offers wide array of degree and vocational programs which include Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, and numerous Certificate programs. Some of these programs are even distinct to the state.
Transfer programs prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions while occupational training programs are designed to develop the students' vocational and technical skills responsive to the current needs of the community and the industry. In all its academic services, FPCC prioritizes the preference and needs of the community members in an effort to support their academic and career endeavors.
FPCC has achieved unprecedented growth in past years and it was recognized for its exceptional academic and vocational offerings, student services and community service programs. Moreover, the campus is now equipped with state-of-the-art technology that supports distance learning, as well as new classrooms and facilities conducive to learning.
