Alexandria Technical & Community College (ATCC)

Alexandria Technical and Community College, located in Alexandria, Minnesota, was founded in 1961 and is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System of schools. The school currently maintains an enrollment of 4000 students annually, more than half of which are full time. Academics

ATCC offers a variety of programs that allow for academic transfer or career training options. Academic transfer is accomplished through the completion of the first two years of a four year education, followed by applying for transfer to a college or university to complete the final two years and earn a bachelor's degree. Description

Advise, instruct, and assist individuals and families engaged in agriculture, agricultural-related processes, or home economics activities. Demonstrate procedures and apply research findings to solve problems; and instruct and train in product development, sales, and the use of machinery and equipment to promote general welfare. Includes county agricultural agents, feed and farm management advisors, home economists, and extension service advisors.
