The school maintains two campuses, with the second located on the former site of Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda, Michigan. The school offers post secondary education to residents of its service area, ensuring they have opportunities and services that meet current and future student needs.
Academics
Alpena Community College offers programs that allow students to pursue academic transfer or career training. Academic transfer is accomplished through the completion of a curriculum that mirrors the first two years of a four year education, followed by applying for transfer in order to continue that education and earn a bachelor's degree. Transfer students should meet with a counselor to discuss options.
