Engineering Program

The engineering program at Amarillo College prepares students for careers in biomedical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, geological and mining engineering and sciences, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and more. Amarillo College in West Texas has something for everyone, no matter what type of student you might be. With affordable tuition, a sleuth of student resources and six campuses across three Texas Counties; any student within the area would be hard-pressed to ignore all the benefits.

AC offers prospective students over 140 degrees and certificates combined. AC also provides weekend classes, distance learning for both working students, and students wishing to continue their education. Amarillo College is well known for its Career and Technical certifications and programs, with specialized training in fields such as; Aerospace manufacturing, aviation maintenance, and Machining technology, just to name a few.

There are currently over 11,000 students enrolled at AC, however, this spans across several campuses. Tuition costs are very affordable at AC, with in-state students paying just under $1000 per year.
