The horticulture program at Bakersfield College prepares students to be landscape designers, landscape contractors, greenhouse managers, and growers. Over 15,000 students are enrolled on the main campus in northeast Bakersfield, at the Weill Institute, and at the Delano Center north of Bakersfield.The college follows a 16-week semester calendar as wells as offering classes on evenings and weekends.
