Bismarck State College, located in Bismarck, North Dakota, was founded in 1939 and is the third largest institution in the North Dakota University System. The school is a comprehensive community college that also offers four year programs that result in specific bachelor's degrees. Bismarck State College offers education for both transfer and career options. Transfer programs allow students to pursue education in a specific area after completing the first two years locally.
