Carpentry Courses
The carpentry program at Black Hawk College prepares students for careers working as carpenters for manufacturing firms, government agencies, retail establishments, and other industries. The program focuses on applying technical knowledge and skills to lay out, cut, fabricate, erect, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, using hand and power tools. Black Hawk College (BHC)

Black Hawk College is a community college that has two campuses, both located in the state of Illinois. The Moline campus is located within the city of Moline, which is one of the Quad Cities. The Quad Cities have a huge population of 381,342, and the surrounding area is quite urban and developed, filled with shopping malls, commercial buildings, and upscale residential neighborhoods. The Southpark Mall is one of the prized tourist destinations in the area. The Quad Cities population and demand is so large that it even has its own airport. As a two year institution, Black Hawk College offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs that meet high standards and allow for the entry into a number of professions after graduation.
