Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC), located in Lexington, Kentucky, is one of the fastest-growing two-year community and technical colleges in the state. The school is tasked with providing excellence in teaching and learning. BCTC is part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, which it joined in 2004. The school was originally known as the Lexington Technical Institute, but changed its name in 1984.
Academics
Bluegrass Community and Technical College offers a variety of programs. Some of these programs are designed for transfer to a four year institution while others provide vocational and/or technical training in a particular field.
