Graphic Design Program

City College of San Francisco is a two-year community college. It consists of eleven campuses; the Ocean Avenue campus being the primary. It is the second largest collegiate institution overall and the largest junior and community college in the US. Its motto: The truth shall make you free.

History

City College of San Francisco was founded in 1935. The Ocean Ave. Campus opened its doors in 1940. It established the first Women's Studies program in the US and was the first educational institution to offer aircraft mechanics training for women. In 1936, the hotel and restaurant management programs were established. City College of San Francisco has the oldest program that emphasizes the culinary arts. The school has a specific gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
