Clovis Community College, located in Clovis, New Mexico, was founded in 1961 as a branch campus to Eastern New Mexico University. The school was built in conjunction with Clovis Municipal Schools in order to bring post secondary educational options to the area. The school was given its current campus in 1978, where it experienced a high amount of growth in both surface area and student enrollment. The school was voted by local residents in 1990 to be given local controlled independent community college. Though the school operates independently, it still maintains a close relationship with Eastern New Mexico University.

Academics
Clovis Community College offers a variety of programs dedicated to assisting in academic transfer or career development. Academic transfer is accomplished by completing the first two years of a four year education at CCC, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution to complete the final two years and earn one's bachelor's degree.
