Surgical Technologist Program

A surgical technologist program at Coastal Carolina Community College prepares students for careers as part of a surgical team in hospitals and surgical centers. The program focuses on maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing the sterile field and adherence to aseptic technique by preoperative, surgical team, and postoperative personnel. Coastal Carolina Community College

Started as Onslow Technical Institute, Coastal Carolina Community College was granted the community college status in 1970. It is established to support the educational and training needs of the residents of the Onslow County primarily aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting community development.
