The welding program at Coastal Carolina Community College prepares students for careers as welding engineers, manufacturing engineers, application engineers, sales engineers, and project engineer or manager. The program focuses on applying technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Coastal Carolina Community College

Started as Onslow Technical Institute, Coastal Carolina Community College was granted the community college status in 1970. It is established to support the educational and training needs of the residents of the Onslow County primarily aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting community development.
