Auto Body Program

The auto body program at College of Southern Idaho prepares students for careers as a custom painter, technician, glass installation technician, welder, metal fabricator, or paint technician. The program focuses on applying technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct, and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. Program courses include: structure analysis, damage repair, non-structural analysis, mechanical and electrical components, plastics and adhesives, painting and refinishing techniques, and damage analysis and estimating. College of Southern Idaho (BYU-I)

Situated in Twin Falls, Idaho, the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is a great higher institution of learning for those who would like to start off their college career in a two year program that offers a ton of different options for majors and career advancement. Twin Falls is one of the state of Idaho’s biggest cities, and had a 44,125 population in the last U.S census. The city has a busy economy and growing development despite many of the problems that surrounding areas have had with the economic downturn. The population has swelled in recent years, leading to much of the new growth that the city is seeing today.

The College of Southern Idaho has a total enrollment of 13,183 and makes its mark as a middle sized school that offers a wide variety of two year degrees and certificate programs. In state tuitions are a very favorable $3,520, but those rates almost double to $6,720 for those who live out of state and are migrating to Twin Falls for school. The college offers over 100 different associates of applied science degrees as well as technical certificates, and specializes in sending students straight into jobs in the work force with different companies in the region.
