College of the Sequoias

College of the Sequoias offers many opportunities for people who live in Tulare and Kings Counties in California. The college was founded in 1925 and moved in 1940. The main campus is located in Visalia and the school operates a full-service center in Hanford. The college has an agriculture program on a 16-acre farm. However it is currently constructing another in Tulare. Tuition for Californian residents is $46 per unit.

The college offers many unbelievable supporting services that place student learning as the top priority. During your time at the College of the Sequoias, you can earn a degree or a vocational certificate, or complete your requirements for a four-year college or university degree or upgrade specific skills. Perform medical tests in a laboratory environment for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases in animals. Prepare vaccines and serums for prevention of diseases. Prepare tissue samples, take blood samples, and execute laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood counts. Clean and sterilize instruments and materials and maintain equipment and machines. May assist a veterinarian during surgery.
