CUNY Queensborough Community College

Operating under the mandate of The City University of New York (CUNY), Queensborough Community College serves as a vital academic, historic and cultural resource for the residents of the Queens County and nearby areas. The campus facility of QCC occupies a 37-acre land in Bayside, Queens, New York.

QCC offers comprehensive programs under five academies: Business, Health Related Sciences; Liberal Arts; Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA). Each academy provides distinct learning opportunities and academic enrichment activities for the students. 

In line with its mission to provide lifelong learning and excellence, QCC utilizes well-planned curricula and innovative pedagogy in its academic programs. Such programs provide opportunities for students to realize their academic and professional goals.

Transfer programs are specifically designed for students who would like to pursue higher education in four-year institutions while career programs are intended for students aspiring to start a professional career after finishing a course. Business, Nursing and Computer Engineering Technology are the accredited programs of this college.

To meet the various needs of the community, QCC also offers affordable and accessible non-credit courses and certificate programs. One unique program of this college is the Accelerated Study in Associate Program (ASAP), a dynamic program that allows students to finish a degree in just three years or less.
