Dakota College at Bottineau came into existence in the year 1906 as the North Dakota School of Forestry. Since then the College has grown by leaps and bounds. The Dakota College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and School. The 35-acre campus of Dakota College at Bottineau finds its location at the northern edge of the city of Bottineau. The library is a member of ODIN, - the Online Dakota Information Network.
