Dyersburg State Community College, located in Dyersburg, Tennessee, was founded in 1969 and currently offers courses through its main campus or two education centers in Covington and Trenton. The school serves seven counties in West Tennessee and provides post secondary education opportunities to assist in development of the region. Academics
DSCC is a comprehensive community college that allows students to pursue transfer or career training opportunities. Transfer programs allow students to complete the first two years of a four year education, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution to complete the final two years and earn a bachelor's degree. Career training programs provide an education in a high demand field or industry that allow students to pursue a long term employment upon completion. Programs take between one and two years to complete, resulting in a degree or certificate upon completion.
