It focuses on offering education that transforms students and makes them understand global issues and their place in the global world we live. The college has three campuses with locations in Swainsboro, Statesboro, and Augusta.

The college offers many outstanding programs of study. Programs are offered in Agriculture, Art, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, English, Exercise and Health Sciences, Foreign Language, Forestry, Geology, History, pre-professional programs, psychology, and education.

Athletics are an important part of any education. East Georgia State College provides individuals with the opportunity to develop physically, socially, and morally during their college experience which can include athletics. The college fields teams in baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and softball.

Attending East Georgia State College is affordable. The annual tuition is currently $5500. Students who are studying part time pay $2775 per year for six to eight credits. It is important to note that students must be enrolled in six credits to be eligible for a loan.
