Eastern New Mexico University – Roswell Campus

Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell is one of the three campuses of the Eastern New Mexico University system along with ENMU-Portales and ENMU-Ruidoso. This institution started as Roswell Community College (RCC) until it became part of the ENMU system in 1958 and its name was changed to ENMUR in 1967.
The campus is located at 52 University Blvd., Roswell, NM 88203 with 234.5 acres land area near the center of the former Walker Air Force Base. ENMUR has smart classrooms with feature technology enhancements and about 650 computers intended to enrich student learning.
Among the core values adopted by this institution are visionary leadership and learner-centered education. ENMUR serves diverse population within the rural corner of Southeastern New Mexico providing wide array of Certificate and Associate degree programs under Business and Science, Career and Technical Education, Health and Liberal Arts.
All throughout Southeast New Mexico, ENMUR has the only FAA approved Aviation Maintenance Technology program. Similarly, students pursuing healthcare degree are given the advantage to use the latest medical equipment at the University’s Health Science Center.
Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are also offered on campus through the ENMU-Portales, as well as distance education courses wherein most classes utilize Media site, a live and on-demand lecture capture tool that simulates real classroom setting. Apart from the degree programs and online courses, ENMUR also provides Adult Basic Education and training services for individuals with disability.
