The welding program at Florida Gateway College prepares students for careers as welding engineers, manufacturing engineers, application engineers, sales engineers, and project engineer or manager. Florida Gateway College (FGC)

Florida Gateway College, formerly Lake City Community College is located in Lake City, Florida. The school was founded in 1947 as Columbia Forestry School, and became a junior college in 1961. The school adopted its current name in 2008 when it began plans to offer bachelor's degrees. The school began applications for their bachelor's of nursing program back in 2011.

Florida Gateway College primarily provides vocational programs that result in certificates and associate degree programs that can be used for career preparation or for transfer to a four year institution.
