Florida Keys Community College (FIU)

Florida Keys Community College, located in Key West, Florida, is the southernmost post secondary institution in the continental United States. Sometime referred to as Key West Community College, the school serves the residents of the Florida Keys. The school is home to the Tennessee Williams Fine Art Center, and is named for the famous playwright who lived in Key West.
The Florida Keys are home to the only living barrier reef in the northern hemisphere and the school offer maritime programs that reflect the unique location of the school. In 2011 Lagoon Landing was opened to students of FKCC. Lagoon Landing is a 100 bed residence hall located on campus and priced affordably for students.

Florida Keys Community College offers a variety of programs. Aside from the transfer programs to 4 year institutions, FKCC offers vocational and career programs, including specialized marine technology programs designed to fit the needs of the Key West community.
