Tribally chartered by the Three Affiliated Tribes, Fort Berthold Community College (FBCC) primarily provides higher educational opportunities to the people of the Fort Berthold Reservation. Throughout the years, this college has undergone series of accreditation process and expanded its academic offerings until it was recognized as a four-year institution. The campus is located at New Town, North Dakota 58763. 

FBCC received an accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and School and it is also affiliated with the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. It offers programs in the areas of agriculture, building maintenance, business, computer information system, construction technology, education, engineering, graphic arts technology, human services, liberal arts, mathematics, Native American studies, nursing and science. 

In pursuit of its mission to deliver quality cultural education and services to the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, its curricula and teaching methods are constantly updated in response to the current needs of the community.
