Fulton-Montgomery Community College, located in Johnstown, New York, is a member school of the State University of New York System (SUNY) which manages all public institutions in the state with the exception of those located within New York City. The school is situated near the Adirondack mountains between the cities of Albany and Utica, and provides a scenic backdrop to the start of one's post secondary educational. Academics
FMCC offers over 45 programs of study that allow students to either continue their education through transfer or prepare them for entry into the workforce through vocational and technical programs. Transfer programs fulfill the first two years of a four year education and allow students to transfer to a college or university to complete their bachelor's degree, a process made easier if the student transfer to a SUNY institution.
