Gaston College is one of the largest community colleges in the state and it is part of the North Carolina Community College System. This institution has three campuses - Dallas, Lincoln and Kimbrell (east) and Textile Technology Center.

This college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  The main campus located at 201 Highway 321 South Dallas, NC 28034-1499 is comprised of twelve major buildings, large parking area and auditorium occupying an approximately 450,868 square feet land area.
