Admissions and Financial Aid

Students wishing to enroll at Grand Rapids Community College must complete the online application and submit all relevant transcripts along with ACT scores. Once completed student must take a placement exam to determine which courses need to be taken. Students in need of financial aid must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once completed the office of financial aid will assist in determining which financial aid options the individual student is eligible for. Surgical Technologists

Description

Assist in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. May help set up operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, adjust lights and equipment, pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon's assistants, hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.
