Such programs typically take between one and two years to complete, resulting in an associate degree, certificate. Students enrolled in such a program will have a traditional classroom education as well as experience building practical courses used to better prepare students for a real work environment. Graduates may seek employment immediately after graduation, and it should be noted that some fields may require certification or licensure.
