Auto Body Program

The auto body program at Houston Community College System prepares students for careers as a custom painter, technician, glass installation technician, welder, metal fabricator, or paint technician. The program focuses on applying technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct, and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. History

Houston Community College System was established in 1971. At that time it was under the wing of Houston Independent School District and used their campuses for evening and weekend classes.
