Located in Independence, Kansas, not far from Tulsa and Wichita, you’ll find Independence Community College. ICC is a place where you can prepare for a successful future, whether your goal is to complete a certification program and move into the marketplace or to obtain an associate degree and continue your studies at a four-year college. Students interested in athletics will be pleased to learn that Independence is a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. Ten athletic programs are available on campus. Students will find abundant opportunity to either wear an ICC Pirates sports jersey or to cheer on their fellow students who do.
In the spirit of the public community college, ICC offers tuition rates that are extremely reasonable, especially when compared to national college and university averages. However, the school does accept federal financial aid, including loans and grants, which are rewarded to students based on need.
