Originally, the school provided a two year education as a community college, but with the introduction of nine bachelor degree programs, with the planned addition of more programs in the future, the school has expanded its educational role within Florida's public post-secondary institutions. Students may earn certificates or associate degrees that provide career training, allowing for employment immediately after graduation.
