Programs combine a traditional classroom study with practical courses, often under the supervision of experienced professionals that supervise training in controlled environments.
Academic transfer allows students to complete the first two years of a four year education at KCC, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution. Students will enter the new school as juniors, completing the final two years and earning a bachelor's degree. Individuals applying to public schools within the state of Illinois will find that agreements in place with specific school will allow for an easier transition if certain criterion is met. Transfer is also possible to out of state and private institutions, though requirements will vary and as such meeting with a counselor prior to registration is recommended to develop the best possible curriculum to meet student needs.
