About
Kansas City Kansas Community College, located in Kansas City, Kansas, was founded in 1923 and was originally part of the Kansas City Public School System. By 1965 the school had become known as Kansas City Kansas Junior College in order to meet the standards for two year institutions as put forth by the state legislature. The school changed its name again in 1979 when the term junior was dropped in favor of community among all such institutions throughout the state. KCKCC provides a high quality, low cost education that is reviewed constantly to ensure it meets the needs of current and future students.
Academics
Kansas City Kansas Community College offers a large number of programs that allow students to pursue the option that best suits their goals and plans. Career and technical training programs provide students with an education in a high demand industry or field that provides them with the skills and abilities necessary to enter the workforce as qualified professionals. Practical portions of such programs are taught by industry professionals in supervised settings that allow for proper training alongside the more traditional classroom environments. Programs take between one and two years to complete and result in a certificate or associate degree upon completion.

Admissions and Financial Aid
