Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College (KBOCC)

Situated on the L’anse Indian Reservation, Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College is located at 111 Bear Town Road in Baraga, Michigan. The tribal college is affiliated with the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. The school’s purpose is to foster and create an educational environment that is rich in Ojibwa history and to preserve the traditions of the Ojibwa tribe. The Ojibwa language is incorporated into program offerings.

The school offers degrees in early child hood education, liberal arts studies, and environmental science. The associate of arts, associate of applied science, and associate of science degrees are all conferred for the programs featured at the institution.
